Jack has been my Go-To when it comes to refinancing my home. He is informative, honest, and is willing to jump through any and all hoops needed to help you get the best rate possible. I have worked with him 3 times and each and every time was a successful process. The most recent occasion had many hurdles as I dealt with courts and Elisors needing to be appointed to sign on behalf of my ex husband. The process took almost 3 years with all the hurdles involving my credit, debt to income ratios, Covid relief plans being placed on my home, all on top of having to battle in court for everything to get settled. Jack and his amazing team were so patient and worked diligently through every hurdle that we were faced with. They sent a notary to me when needed even in late hours of the day because that is the only time that worked with my schedule. I would recommend Jack and his team every time, and will be reaching out to him again when the rates come down after all of this!

Jack and his team were fantastic! Prior to home buying, I was told the lending process would be extremely stressful and time consuming. With Jack, this definitely was not the case. At one point, the lender attempted to raise the interest rate after we had already locked in citing they had made a mistake. Jack went to bat for us and ensured that the lender honored their mistake. 2.22.22 Update The re-fi is done and Jack and his team did an OUTSTANDING job. Always communicated in a timely manner. Always responded to my every request/call/email/text in a timely manner. Always had expansive professional knowledge of loan relate subject matter. Re-fi closed ON TIME with zero hiccups. We scheduled a new appraiser before the re-fi completed but that wasn't really a big deal. Overall would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone doing a re-fi. Trust me when I say I'm not an easy customer to please in general but I was EXTREMELY SATISFIED with the level of service offered by Jack and his team during all stages of the process. Below is my mid-refi review. Thus far Jack and his team have shown a professionalism and level of excellence that I feel extremely lucky to have stumbled upon. In the midst of the holiday season and a new variant of the viral outbreak his team worked diligently and tirelessly to push my loan through the system with the power of technology, seemingly effortlessly. As someone with high expectations of those that I work with I can say that my expectations have thus far have been exceeded with room to spare. If you are reading this review I strongly suggest you stop your internet search and make the decision to improve your future because my future is looking brighter as a direct result of working with this amazingly talented team. Jack Skovgard and his team had very professional approach during the loan process. I worked with the team in my first refinance 2019, although I couldn't get a reasonable cash out and a mortgage rate from my then lender. Within approximately less than a month, Jack originated my loan with a new lender the exact way I wanted as he promised me initially. Last year June, again I worked my 2nd refinance with Jack and team, which also he delivered me the way I wanted with a $50,000 cash out even though my current lender turned me down. What I appreciate most is this time he took only less than 15 days to finalize my loan. I tried several lenders including my current lender although nobody couldn't even near what this company offered me. We recently refinanced our home through Long Beach Home Loan Corporation, guided by Mr. Jack Skovgard. Jack and all the additional personnel were awesome! They were always available to communicate with us when needed, and the process was very quick and smooth. The great refinance percentage that Jack quoted us in the beginning is what we ended up with as promised. The process was done all electronically until the very end, when Long Beach Home Loan conveniently provided us a notary public to come to our home to sign the final papers. I would highly recommend this professional group!

Initially, we reached out to him for pre-approval and had a lot of moving parts (re-fi on a house out of state, new job, etc) which he took the time to understand, decided on the best course of action, and gave us a realistic plan moving forward. You ever met someone that can make things happen. While Jack was that guy for me. When we first met, I told him my goals for my refi and I was honest with him that i was shopping rates and looking for my best option. Jack understood my goal, and showed me numbers that beat my previous loan guy and other offers i received. A few days later Jack called and said we need to switch lenders it will be worth it just trust him. I was getting cold feet but said ok.. within 48 hours Jack showed me new numbers that were $$$ better than originally showed. It was almost too good to be true. We talked and he explained numbers a different way than i was processing it and educated me to understand from the banks side and how it was beneficially short term and long term. During the underwriting phase i forgot to do a few things with my previous lender and started to back out of the process with Jack, he called me and said lets talk about it.... I did not feel any pressure but reassurance from him and how to correct my error and while doing so we ended up getting an amazing rate, an instant break even point and a lower payment!!! just simple amazing.. during the whole process i was studying to take the MLO test and even passed the state test to become a lender... with that said, i felt Jack followed all the rules and regs i was learning about and exceeded my expectations in meeting my goals.

Jack and his team could not have done anything more to make the experience of getting financing for property any smoother. With zero previous experience and very little knowledge of the financing industry, with the guidance of Jack, we were able to make a clear and educated decision. Jack was amazing and went above and beyond in assisting us in the process of refinancing our home. I was hesistant at first with this company thinking they were scam. I have received five or six mails before finally giving it a try. Luckily I did! Our loan rate went down from 4.5% to 3.25%. We encountered quite issues during the process but Jack fixed everything. Everything was done thru phone calls and emails. I didnt had to travel and meet them at their office which is a plus for me since I live 60miles away. First of all, i contacted several other loan officers to make sure I got the best service. I spoke to 3 of them before Jack. The first one took my information, including a full application but he didn’t have time to run my credit. After 2 days of waiting I decided to go elsewhere. The 2nd one kept on getting “bad reception” with her phone so she couldn’t call back. The 3rd one just never really responded. Then came Jack. It was a Friday night near Christmas and he was about to go on vacation for the weekend but he let me know prior to leaving all the information I needed. As soon as he was back that Monday he checked on my status. I knew at that point that I finally had a “professional”. This is the second time in less than a year that Jack and his firm have helped us refinance our home. Less than a year ago we did it and had some issues to work through and Jack was magnificent with his help. We refinanced and were extremely pleased with the whole process. I HIGHLY recommend Jack Skovgard to handle all of your mortgage/Refinance needs. I was shopping around for a loan and I informed Jack that I was thinking about going with a bank that was my current loan servicer. I told him the details and He said he could get me a better deal. He told me to send over the bank's loan estimate and he found some questionable things. He said he could get me a better rate AND work in more cash back. When he sent back his estimate; it was much, much better. Not only that, He told me to wait because he had a sense that the rates were going to fall a little more and could lock me in at a lower rate. It did fall and he locked me in. " The whole process of working with Jack was excellent!! Jack was amazing, efficient, friendly, and informative. The process was quick and did not require as much paperwork as a traditional refinance. I actually contacted Jack because of a mail flyer I received. We did a streamline refinance for an FHA loan. He was very quick to get back to me when I had any questions, and he ended up saving us a LOT of money. We had to put a little money in for the new escrow, but I just got the old escrow account back, and that was more than double what I put towards closing the new loan. Our newly refinanced loan has a lower interest rate, a shorter loan term, and a nice chunk of cash in our pocket. There were a couple of options- and not all of them have cash back at the end, but all of them did end up saving money (whether is was a lower interest rate or shorter loan term, or both in my case). Jack kept us updated the whole time too and personally called when the loan closed. I would definitely recommend working with Jack Skovgard!!"
